I believe that Counselling can be a unique opportunity to care for yourself so that you can show up differently in the world around you, a space where we can collaboratively journey together with the Holy Spirit to find grace and healing.
All of humanity hungers for being seen, known and loved without judgment, despite our imperfections. As I have journeyed through life and experienced my own grief and suffering, I found myself drawn to a profession that could help others move towards healing. I know what it is like to be in a space where pain is deep and there is no clear path to the other side. And I have come to believe that this gap between past painful events and a future of hope is full of opportunity – but we can easily miss this opportunity if we don’t take the time to process.
As I continue to walk my own journey of healing and growth, I have seen the beautiful power of allowing another person to help lift you when you need support and to offer another perspective. I also deeply believe that the Lord is close to those with broken hearts and that His plan is always for redemption. As humans, we are stronger together than we are alone, and I think it’s an absolute gift to be welcomed into the sacred, holy space of therapy.

My approach to therapy is through a Person-Centered lens. This means that I value genuine relationship, acceptance and empathy. I deeply believe that all people have so much beauty within them that can be discovered, and I approach your unique story with curiosity and care.
While using a Person-Centered foundation, I utilize ideas from Attachment Theory and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT). I endeavor to offer a warm space for clients to explore attachment and interactional patterns that are not working, and help facilitate secure, positive connection to self, others or God. I believe that therapeutic tools are most effectively utilized with the tender guidance of the Holy Spirit. I hope to create a safe space for clients to be able to explore, question and wonder about who they are and how they fit into the greater story of life. As a counsellor, I have witnessed incredible breakthroughs in clients’ lives and I believe that when we invite the Holy Spirit to be an integral part of the counselling process, we can experience even deeper and more meaningful healing.

My approach to therapy is to create open space where you can breathe deep, exhale and be yourself. The culture around us is so busy and chaotic that it is rare to find space to reflect, sit in our pain, and process the emotions where we are stuck, in order to find peace. I deeply value authenticity and don’t come in as the expert in the room. Rather, I want clients to experience a collaborative relationship where they feel like I am a teammate, joining them in creatively finding new ways of being.
I am someone who has found healing through both therapy and my relationship with the Lord. My own personal experience and professional training come together to support clients in their journey of understanding themselves, others and the world in a new way. We will work collaboratively to uncover resilience and strength within your story so that the road ahead can be different than the road behind.

I have been married since 2018 and have three beautiful kiddos who keep me very busy! I am a huge lover of all things summer and all things Christmas. If the weather could be hot and beautiful for 11 months of the year and then cold and wintery for December, I think that would be the ideal place to live. If I’m not at work, I’m most likely with my children or living life with others. I am an extrovert who would happily be with other people every day. I am a lover of country music, chai tea lattes and am a big fan of the TV show Survivor.
