Before becoming a psychotherapist, I spent more than 20 years walking with people in classrooms, staff rooms, and church communities. I’ve been a teacher, a school principal, and a Pastor of Spiritual Formation. Each role gave me a front-row seat to the quiet struggles people carry and the courage it takes to name them.
Those years taught me that most of us aren’t looking for quick answers. We’re longing for someone who will sit with us, listen closely, and help us make sense of what’s happening beneath the surface. I’ve always been drawn to those quiet, honest moments when people share what’s really happening inside. Counselling feels like a natural extension of how I’ve lived my life. I’ve learned to sit with people in their questions, their grief, their hope, and their longing for something deeper and truer.
Faith-integrative counselling is simply how I make sense of the world. There is no wall between the emotional and the spiritual. When someone wants to explore how their story and their relationship with God meet, I feel at home in that conversation.

My approach is grounded in being present and relational. I pay attention to what’s happening in the room, what’s happening in your body, and how your past relationships and experiences may have shaped the way you move through life today. I draw from approaches that help people listen to their emotions, understand their patterns, and make space for the parts of themselves they may have learned to silence.
I’m especially interested in the places where attachment, emotion, and faith intersect. I want to help you stay with what’s real, name what hurts, and discover what’s possible when you are met with steadiness, compassion, and care.
-
I love creating a place where people can discover what’s possible when they are met with the experiential love and acceptance of Christ. Whether I’m sitting with an individual sorting through their inner world or a couple trying to find their way back to each other, I care about what’s happening beneath the surface and between you.

I grew up in Egypt, and my parents’ home was so close to the pyramids that I passed them almost every day. You could see them from down the street, and somehow, growing up, that just felt ordinary! I love quiet mornings, long walks, cooking for friends, and being near water. I’m happiest when I’m laughing with my family or watching a good movie together for the first time.
